I moved to Bristol in 2007 and began working within Social Care Recruitment. I enjoyed the Social Care environment so much that I began working for Next Step in 2010 as an office administrator and progressed to Office Manager in 2012. I am responsible for the day-to-day running of the office - ensuring that all paperwork is completed, submitted and filed correctly; invoicing; recruitment; dealing with any issues or queries that are called in; professional liaison and staff rotas. I also assist the Regional Manager with the setting up of new placements and staff co-ordination to ensure that Next Step are delivering a great service. 

I obtained a BA (Hons) in English Literature and American Studies in 2005 and began studying for an MA in English and a PGCE in 2006. I am currently studying for an LQF Level 5 in Health and Social Care - Children and Young Person's Management. I have undertaken various training within my role, including Child Protection; Mental Health; Child Development and Health and Safety.
