I have worked for Next Step Care Management since January 2016 as an outreach worker.

My role involves supporting young people to develop a skill set that will enable them to live independently and become a valued member of society.

I work with Young People who have a variety of issues and support them to learn new skills to enable them to move on in the future and live independently.  I support young people to look at Budgeting, Cooking, Cleaning, Tenancy Management, Education and Employment and applying for benefits where appropriate.

Prior to this role I have experience supporting vulnerable families, worked in education within?schools and charity organisation’s supporting young people. I feel I am a driven and passionate worker with the ability to communicate effectively with people from a range of diverse backgrounds. I would describe myself as an empathetic and un-biased ‘people person’ with a passion to providing young people with guidance and support to help them reach their full potential in life.?
